​Speaking to those who are directly affected, letting them share to the world their honest, uncensored experiences
This project was proposed in April of 2022, during a one-on-one class I took with Dr. Amanda Minervini.
During this class, I learned about the erasure of Afroitalians in Italian society. It was as if a lightbulb went off for Dr. Minervini and I. We came up with the idea to combine my skills of media production and storytelling to create a series showcasing Afroitalians and their experiences.
